5.0 out of 5 starsWonderful illustrations - perfect for toddlers just learning to read

The illustrations are absolutely so wonderful you feel like you could almost pick them off the page and cuddle them! The text is great for small children as it repeats certain phrases throughout, and a child could easily pick up on what a word looks and sounds like. A great book for bedtime. I bought a few for baby shower gifts.

Loved this so much

Loved this so much. The art is truly breathtaking and my 2 year old cousin enjoys it so much when I read it to her. It's rare to find quality illustrations like this in children's books these days.

A beautifully illustrated, informative and delightful book to enjoy with the whole family!

I fell in love with Monica Michelle's "Royal Dogs" and so did my two daughters. The moment I saw the stunning cover of young Penelope, Beatrice the Teddy Bear, and a lovely, regal French Poodle, I knew this book would be a labor of love. The illustrations are utterly enchanting and filled with sweet details. We learned fascinating historical facts about a variety of breeds. This is such a fun read that doesn't seem educational, yet it is. My girls and I look forward to Monica Michelle's forthcoming books very much!
