The octopus does not need a special glamour. It is in itself a magical creature. Look it up in a book if you doubt. There is nothing like it in faerie or on earth. There is much to be made of visitors from other planets or old gods about them. The one who lives in the coves under the boat house is a good ambassador of its’ species to ask such questions. It is the oldest octopus in existence and can vividly remember the tales and songs of old his mother breathed over him as an egg.
